Overview
PRO PLUS is a company for television management, production of original Slovenian TV programs and acquisition of international programs, as well as for sales of television advertising time. The company started its business in 1995 and now operates three television channels in Slovenia; POP TV the most watched tv channel in Slovenia which is also the most trusted among all TV stations, Kanal A the third most watched tv channel in Slovenia and TV Pika which achieves the highest ratings right after national tv channels.Besides commercial television programs PRO PLUS produces several web channels: 24ur.com, which is the most visited web page in Slovenia, specialized web pages (Zadovoljna.si, Bibaleze.si, Golfportal.info, Dominvrt.si, Moškisvet.com, 321gremo.si, Cekin.si, Vizita.si), internet community Frendi & Flirt, from September 2007 the first nonlinear television in Slovenia – poptv.si and from September 2009 also first linear televison in Slovenia - maxtv.si.

POP TV
POP TV, which began broadcasting in 1995, has been the most successful Slovenian television channel for many years. In 2010 it has a strong leading position, particularly in the target viewer group of 18 to 49 years of age, with an average all-day share of 24.1% and a 33.4 % prime-time audience share in the first quarter of 2010. It has a 24-hour broadcast and reaches 95% households in Slovenia.
POP TV is one of three TV channels operated by PRO PLUS. Its mission is to offer viewers an extensive, up-to-date and interesting choice of information and entertainment content.
Locally produced programming includes top rated topical news shows 24UR POPOLDNE (24HOURS IN THE AFTERNOON), 24UR (24 HOURS), 24UR ZVEČER (24 HOURS AT NIGHT), Preverjeno! (Confirmed!) and a new addition 24UR OB ENIH (24HOURS AT ONE), which was been introduced in April 2010.
The first choice of viewers is also the entertainment part of the program including local sitcom Lepo je biti sosed (It's nice to be a Neighbour) and cooking show Ljubezen skozi želodec (Love through the stomach). In 2010 the station launched Slovenija ima talent (Slovenia's Got Talent). with tremendous success. –The final episode achieved the highest rating of the decade on Slovenian television channels of 31 % and 75 % average audience share in the target viewer group of 18 to 49 years of age.
Besides domestic production, POP TV also offers a variety of latest international programs, telenovelas, top featured films, several global hit series, documentaries and cartoons in Ringa -Raja. The brand has also contributed to the popularization of sports, such as Formula 1 and World Cup MOTO GP and spectacular specials -Slovenian Media Awards Special (Viktorji).

Kanal A offers its viewers locally produced information and entertainment content. The news show SVET (The World ), which is broadcast on weekdays at 6 p.m., is the most viewed show in its time slot and also the second most viewed news program in the country. -Kanal A offers also several popular entertainment shows: Pazi, kamera! (Watch out, Camera!), TV TUBA, Zvezda pokra (Poker Star). -From autumn 2009 is exclusively for Slovenia on Kanal A the most prestigious football club matches UEFA Champions League. Matches are on programme beside Kanal A, on 24ur.com/ligaprvakov and maxtv.si. From spring 2010 is on Kanal A for drivers also a new sport entertainment show Avto.info.

TV Pika originally launched in 2006 as a regional TV station, eventually expanding broadcasting from Central Slovenian into other regions, and now reaches over (almost 70%) 66% of all Slovenian households. Since summer of 2010, TV Pika is fully owned by Central European Media Enterprises. TV Pika broadcasts both foreign fiction, locally produced fiction and non-fiction programs. The stations format incorporates lifestyle, reality, telenovela, movies, and daily series. Pikas locally produced content include its own cooking show Kuhinjica (Kitchenette), morning show Budilka (Eveille), several others popular shows Preparty, Randevu, ABCD and news programs. In 2009 the station achieved the highest ratings right after national tv channels.

PRO PLUS has been publicly recognized as the leading multimedia company in Slovenia with high corporate responsibility and supporting numerous organizations, societies, individuals. Public is being informed through “awareness-rising" campaigns broadcast on PRO PLUS TV channels (POP TV, Kanal A and TV PIKA ) and on its web sites (24ur.com, specialized portals). Considering excellent ratings and a high number of hits on web sites, the messages reach broad audiences.
Recipients include international organisations such as UNICEF, Amnesty International, Council of Europe, UNHCR, European Antibiotic Awareness Day (EAAD), International Cooalition Against Wildlife Trafficking (CATW), SAFE.SI (Europe's Information Society), SILA (Slovenian International Ladies Association) etc, as well as local institutions such as Rdeči križ Slovenije (Red Cross), Karitas, Društvo Paraplegikov (Paraplegic Association), Beli obroč (White Ring), Zavod za Slepo in Slabovidno Mladino (Institution for Blind and Visually Impaired Young People), Društvo Sonček (Association Soncek), Fundacija za pomoč otrokom (Fundation for Children Support), Fundacija Rdeča žoga (Red Ball Foundation), Center za avtizem (Centre for Autism), Rdeči noski (Red Noses), Svit, Energija.si, Zveza Prijateljev Mladine Slovenije (Slovenian Association of Friends of Youth) among many others.
For a number of years PRO PLUS has also strongly focused on corporate responsibility in its popular programmes and also producing special entertaining humanitarian shows in cooperation with well-known organizations (This Small Country with Unicef, Snowflake with the Slovenian Association of Friends of Youth, and similar).
PRO PLUS also offers its hand of help through humanitarian campaigns, which are organized independently on the company level or in cooperation with business partners.
